new vocational building at lee high school

As a expansion of the Lee High school's existing vocational  programs, this new 14,000 SF pre-engineered metal building for Houston ISD is located across the main campus, it houses a welding shop and a wood working shop, plus accessory areas. Working very closely with the school district staff as well as the administrators and teachers at the school, we helped to define a program and determine a construction budget from the start.  Although the building is a pre-engineered metal building, we aimed toward fashioning a design that would meet the budget, would be durable for its intended use, function efficiently, and at the same time, be aesthetically pleasing.
